The 405 is an online magazine that has only been going since 2008, featuring news and reviews about all that’s going on in the worlds of music, film and art. The site has grown an impressive amount, particularly in the last year or so, and in addition to the online features, forum and club nights, they have now launched a newsletter.
That alone isn’t exactly reason to get excited, I know – the guys at The 405 know it too – so they’ve gone and included free new music downloads with it! And they’re free. And they get delivered straight to your inbox. It’s awesome.
Edition 1 of the newspaper featured five free tracks by the likes of Olympians, Sam Prekop and The Babies; I’m looking forward to the next instalment.
Speaking of free new music, The 405 also have a great ‘Ones to Watch’ album featuring their pick of which artists are going to make their name in 2011.
